Avocado Smoothie with Pistachio and Spinach

Pistachio Smoothie Recipe. My smoothie choice for today is all about PISTACHIOS – Seeds and Milk. The actual PISTACHIO SEEDS contain a chock full of vitamins and nutrition, are antioxidant powerhouses, are great for your heart, and rich in nutrients which may help protect against cancer and heart disease. While PISTACHIO MILK isn’t dense in nutrients, it does contain small amounts of protein, fiber and unsaturated fats – perfect if you’re watching your weight. Why? Only 50 calories per cup.

Pistachio Smoothie Recipe
Makes one 12 oz glass

INGREDIENTS
1 c Spinach
1/2 or 1 whole Avocado (your choice)
1/2 Peach – perfect for some sweetness
1 Ripe Banana
1/2 c Greek Yogurt
1 handful (1/4 c) Pistachio Seeds
1 c Pistachio Milk

INSTRUCTIONS
Add all ingredients to the blender and give it a good whirl. Comes out thick, but if you’d like it even thicker, add some ice.
