Kiwi Avocado Breakfast Smoothie. So my client asks me this morning “are we having smoothies for breakfast?” I respond with “we can if you’d like one. What do you have a taste for?” And the elderly lady says “kiwi’s baby !! And if we have an avocado, put one of those in there too. I’m feeling a need for some get up and go – wink wink.” Ah yes, my 80 year old client has jokes.
So I looked around for what she had in her fridge and cupboard and came up with this Kiwi Avocado Breakfast Smoothie. And I added some of my Shroom Magic Mix, which I always carry in my bag, for a bit of energy and a smidge of tanginess to the blend.
Well needless to say my client loved her breakfast smoothie. And it gave her just the right amount of “get up and go” so we could power through her physical therapy session. So check it out – the ingredients are below.
The Kiwi is an excellent add to you blends as it’s full of the nutrients folate and potassium along with Vitamins C, K, and E; it also has a lot of antioxidants and is a good source of fiber. And the Avocado is packed with healthy fats and dietary fiber; and is a great source of the nutrients folate, magnesium, potassium, and Vitamins B and C. Everything needed to start your day off right.

Kiwi Avocado Breakfast Smoothie
Makes two 8oz blends
Ingredients
2 Kiwi, skin removed
1 Avocado
1 Banana
1/2 c plain Greek Yogurt
1 c Coconut Water
3/4 tsp Shroom Magic Mix
Instructions
Add all ingredients into your blender and give it a good whirl. You can add more coconut water if a thinner consistency is desired.
